SolarSister makes catchy indie rock interwoven with heavy guitars and a touch of west coast. A sound that contains the best elements from the late eighties and early nineties. Swinging, steaming and always intense. At the end of 2020, Stephan (God’s Monkey / Burning Stash) and Sander (Suffix / Woensel Wildmen) join forces and write new songs at a rapid pace. This clicks, this works! A rock-solid foundation is found in Maarten (Tupelo Honey / Golliwogs) and Fred (Herb Mews and the Mules / Redmoon). These men ensure that it drives, that it sticks, that it roars and that it swings. Catchy songs with their own face, brought by a well-oiled machine.
